Located where Wailuku town meets the city of Kahului, Mele Ukulele is a favorite stop for Maui's top musicians. We carry a wide variety of ukuleles, from the classic soprano size to the "guitarlele", and we're located just downhill from the Iao Valley State Park, on Kaahumanu Avenue just before the historic Waiale Bridge. We are open Mon. thru Sat. from 10am to 5pm, other times by appointment.
Everything for the ukulele musician

Whatever you need, if it's ukulele related, we have it! We have ukuleles, ukulele cases, ukulele books, ukulele tuners, ukulele amplifiers, ukulele music, even a resident ukulele artist! Frequently, you will find many of Maui's top musicians engaged in "kanikapila" (jamming Hawaiian style) at the store. Kealii Reichel, Uluwahi Guerrero, The Hula Honeys, Kamaka Fernandez, Ikaika Brown, and of course Jonathan D. and Uncle Peter are just a few of the Maui musicians who come by and pick, strum, sing, etc: not to mention visiting Hawaii and Mainland musicians such as Jesse Colin Young, John Fogerty, Mike Myers, Jack Johnson, Raiatea Helm, the Brown Ohana (Ikaika and Uncle Kevin), and Eric and Amy Gilliom, as well as Bonnie Raitt, Jimmy Buffet and most of their backup band members.
Our friendly, knowledgeable staff is here to help!
